100 red buses in London celebrate 75th independence anniversary

Commenting on the campaign, High Commissioner Muazzam Ahmed Khan said: “We’re proud to launch this campaign to celebrate 75 years of Pakistan’s independence and 75 years of Britain and Pakistan relations.

Pakistan High Commission has launched a campaign on 100 red buses in London to celebrate Pakistan’s 75th Independence Anniversary.

Pakistan High Commission and London-based real estate developer have jointly launched the campaign. Buses feature Pakistan’s landscape, culture, heritage, and tourism potential. Pakistan Monument in Islamabad, K2, Badshahi Mosque, and three world cup footballs produced in Pakistan are featured on the buses.

Commenting on the campaign, High Commissioner Muazzam Ahmed Khan said: “We’re proud to launch this campaign to celebrate 75 years of Pakistan’s independence and 75 years of Britain and Pakistan relations. Pakistan’s diversity and beauty are unparalleled; we have featured various elements in this campaign which will be seen by millions in the global melting pot of Central London. I, would like to thank the real estate developer for supporting this campaign and continuing to promote Pakistan across the world.”

The campaign is estimated to be watched by 10 million people as buses will cross London’s busiest roads.

Pakistan Ambassador-at-Large on Investment Zeeshaan Shah said: “London, the capital of the world, and the United Kingdom and Pakistan have a rich shared history. There is no better place in the world than the beautiful city of London to celebrate 75 years of Pakistan’s independence and 75 years of Great Britain and Pakistan’s bilateral relations.”

Commenting on the campaign, Aqib Hassan, Chief Commercial Officer of the real estate developer, said: “We are proud to support this campaign and be part of such a fabulous initiative. Pakistan’s economy has been on a hugely upward trajectory in recent weeks, and experts expect this momentum to continue as key economic reforms are taking place.
