2018 brings Marvel movie Black Panther to the big screen

The storyline revolves around the son of the King of Wakanda, T’Challa, who returns to a strange technologically advanced and isolated African nation after the death of his father.

Marvel has been one of the most successful blockbuster franchises in the history of the world. They have been producing films that have repeatedly topped movie charts and tantalized audiences across the entire world generating millions of dollars at the box office.

The superheroes created by Marvel such as Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man are household names across the entire planet. Marvel is releasing another magnificent thriller that will pull audiences out of their commonplace lives and yank them into the fantastical world of Black Panther.

The film is directed by the critically acclaimed Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.

It has been reported that Black Panther has managed to create such widespread hype that it holds the record for most pre-sale tickets sold for a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

The previous record was held by Captain America: Civil War which was released in 2016 which has now been beaten by Black Panther.

Erik Davis who is the managing editor of a website called Fandango said that “Black Panther is riding an incredible wave of momentum right now, It’s one of the biggest and most anticipated movies to ever open in the month of February, and its trailers have electrified the Internet. Tickets have been going fast ever since pre-sales started on Fandango late Monday.”
