Pakistan has confirmed 101 deaths by novel coronavirus in one day and the number of positive cases has surged to 119,536. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 2,356.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), record 5,834 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic followed by Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Till now 45,463 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 43,709 in Sindh, 15,206 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7,335 in Balochistan, 6,236 in Islamabad, 1,018 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 488 in Azad Kashmir.

More than 43000 cases are reported in across Sindh and 731 persons have died due to Coronavirus.
Doctors in Karachi while demanding 15 days lockdown every month said that minimum rush must be assured in hospitals and Bazaars while strike in not under consideration during current situation.

Shehbaz Sharif tested positive
Punjab Provincial Minister for Information Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan has said that he is deeply saddened on Shahbaz Sharif corona positive test.
According to detail, information minister said that we pray for speedy recovery of other league leaders who are affected with corona virus while Shahbaz’s Sharif health is important for Pakistan and Pakistani people. Hope that Shahbaz Sharif will participate in practical steps against corona forcefully after quarantine, he said.
