Pakistan’s IT industry has demonstrated positive growth trends for the last few years; especially in the reciprocal role of exports, where we are showing accelerating numbers that eventually improve our GDP. Pakistan’s IT sector has earned a massive revenue of $4.1 billion during the fiscal year 2018-19.

According to the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the total size of the software sector is approximately $6.5 billion, which is expected to grow at least 3.5 percent in the next five years. The local software market is export-orientated; however, it is dependent on imports for the latest technologies and services. Hence, with heavy traffic of exports and imports in the country – hopefully exports more than imports – we will be able to grow dramatically.
