The Bollywood actress congratulated Malala Yousafzai on social media. Priyanka Chopra posted a candid picture of herself with Malala Yousafzai on Instagram. “Happy graduation Malala. Your Philosophy, Politics, and Economics degree from Oxford is such an incredible achievement. I’m so proud,” wrote Priyanka Chopra on social media.

Last week, Malala Yousafzai posted her pictures of celebrating her graduation with the family on Twitter. “Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics, and Economics degree at Oxford. I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading, and sleep,” she wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra, the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF and youngest noble laureate Malala Yousafzai had a rare meet up in New York, where both were attending the United Nations Summit 2017.
Dignitaries from around the globe had gathered in New York to attend the UNGA annual session. Amid this frenzy, the meetup did not go unnoticed.
Both the ladies took to their social media platforms to express their goodwill and inspiration they had from each other.
While Malala tweeted her excitement of meeting the Bollywood Celeb, Chopra too did not restrain herself from showing the love and admiration for the 20-year-old Yousafzai.
The meetup was a ray of friendliness, and helped in mitigating the burgeoning hostility between the nations from which they both belong: India and Pakistan.

The news of her graduation first broke on June 7th. The activist was among the popular YouTube lineup who addressed the class of 2020 at the virtual graduation ceremony.
Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, and Tailor Swift. Moreover, Michelle Obama also graced the virtual gradual ceremony. Malala Yousafzai being a popular figure, addressed the virtual graduation ceremony.

YouTube also shared a 12-second clip of Malala from the special virtual commencement ceremony. “Don’t be defined by what you lose in this crisis but by how you respond to it,” the 22-year-old shared. “You have gained your education, now it’s time that you go out and use it for the betterment of the world. Congratulations to the class of 2020,” said Malala Yousafzai to the fellow graduates of Oxford University.
Singer Jennifer Lopez also congratulated, Malala Yousafzai saying she felt “most honored” to introduce the girl who inspired her and “took misfortune and turned it into a movement.”

She then gave a motivational speech to the students. “Got fired? Learning experience. Got your heartbroken? Learning experience. Graduating during a global crisis? That’s more than a learning experience. It’s a growing experience,” she said. “You’re learning the most important lesson of all: Every obstacle is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to change.”
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has given way to virtual events. Hence, YouTube organized the virtual graduation ceremony to bid farewell to the students.
Malala’s life at Oxford University
The Noble Prize laureate has penned down her experience at the University of Oxford for British Vogue magazine. The editor of the magazine Edward Enninful shared the news from her Twitter account.
She took to Twitter and wrote. “As Malala Yousafzai begins her second year at university, in the November issue of British Vogue on newsstands this Friday, she reflects on her life at Oxford University and why every girl deserves the same chance.”

She even shared a glimpse of her first day at Oxford University. Malala posted pictures of her laptop, textbook, and pencil as she began her degree in Philosophy, Economics, and Politics.
Moreover, her tweet had some powerful messages for her detractors. She said that five years ago, she was shot to sabotage her journey towards attaining education, by Taliban militants. And now, after five years, she is attending her first lecturers at the world’s most prestigious educational institute, the University of Oxford.
