West Indies cricket team will tour Pakistan for a three-match T20I series early in 2023. Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed in a press release today.
The team had to return already next year for the 3 ODI series that was postponed this year due to the team being affected by the coronavirus. The team is set to return for the ODI series in June. PCB says that the T20 series will be planned before the eighth schedule of the Pakistan Super League in 2023. “West Indies will play three Twenty20 Internationals in the build-up to the PSL 2023. The West Indies team are already scheduled to play ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League ODIs in June 2022 to make up for the postponed matches,” the press release added.

West Indies Cricket Team had arrived in Karachi, Pakistan for a bilateral cricket series. The team arrived at Karachi Airport from Dubai where the COVID-19 sample tests were taken.

Officials and other staff also arrived with the team. Sources say that the guest team will quarantine themselves in their hotel rooms until their tests results are negative. West Indies cricket team will play a T20I and ODI series in Pakistan. The first T20I match will be played at National Stadium, Karachi on December 13th.
Pakistan defeated West Indies in the three-match T20I series. All the matches were held in Karachi’s National Stadium.

Earlier, New Zealand Cricket has announced back-to-back tours of Pakistan next season, after the abrupt and controversial decision to cancel this year’s tour on security grounds.
The Black Caps will tour Pakistan from December 2022 to January 2023 to play two World Test Championship fixtures and three one-day internationals, New Zealand administrators said.
The world’s number two Test team will then return to Pakistan in April for five one-day internationals and five Twenty20 matches.
