The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has approved a special initiative allowing medical and dental students from Gaza to complete their education in Pakistan. This decision comes amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza and aims to ensure that these students’ education is not disrupted.

The PMDC’s decision was influenced by a request from the Pakistani High Commissioner in London. To facilitate this initiative, the PMDC has formed a special committee led by its President, with representatives from the Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs. The first group of 20-30 students is expected to arrive soon, with the committee ensuring a smooth transition and completion of their education.
