Meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned typing indicator for both individual and group chats. This new feature is currently available to select beta testers, and it promises a more streamlined and dynamic chatting experience. Shift in Typing Indicator Design

With the new update, the typing indicator has been moved directly into the conversation screen in the form of a chat bubble. Voice Recording Indicator Redesigned
In addition to the revamped typing indicator, WhatsApp has also redesigned the voice recording indicator. This update makes the app more intuitive and cohesive, as users can now view who is typing or recording a voice note without having to check different parts of the screen.
