Lily Collins has officially become a mother, welcoming her first child through a surrogate earlier this week! The actress shared the joyful news on social media, posting a picture of her newborn wrapped in a blanket with her name, Tove, embroidered in gold letters.
In the caption, she wrote, “Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell. Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again…”

Lily’s husband, Charlie McDowell (son of actors Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen, and stepson of Ted Danson), and Lily herself (daughter of music legend Phil Collins) are both filled with immense love and gratitude. The couple tied the knot in 2021 after starting their relationship in 2019.
It was reported that shortly after the birth, Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson visited the newborn in the hospital, sharing in the excitement and joy of the growing family.
