A passenger claiming to be FIA officer harasses bus hostess

News Desk |

A passenger claiming to be the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) personnel harassed a female crew on a bus traveling from Lahore to Islamabad. The video circulating on social media shows a passenger badly trashed the female crew of the bus when she refused to give more than one water bottle to the passenger.

The unfortunate incident happened when the female crew refused to give more than one chilled water bottle to the alleged passenger stating that this is beyond the protocols as she is allowed to give one bottle to each passenger. The man in anger started abusing the lady and snatched the bottles from her.

The lady furious over the mistreatment warned the man to behave since she was not liable to bear with the insolent behaviour. The man irked with the lady, warned her of dire consequences upon which the lady started crying while other passengers tried to console her.

The motorway police were then forced to take action against him. The man was offloaded from the bus while police charged him with a harassment lawsuit.

Later the passengers protested and stopped the bus from going ahead. The motorway Police then had to intervene in the matter. They reportedly tried to subside the matter upon knowing the alleged harasser was an FIA personnel. Passengers, however, protested against the motorway Police and urged them to take the action.

Though few passengers believed that they should have let the motorway police offload the alleged passenger with an apology since it would have saved their time while others believed that failure to speak against such incidents and letting the culprits go without any action would encourage them to threaten other individuals in the future as well.
