A smartphone with the world’s biggest battery: Oukitel WP19

Oukitel has launched a smartphone with 4 times bigger battery than other handsets.

A Chinese company, Oukitel launched its latest smartphone, the WP19 which has a longer battery life than other smartphones. The model comes with a 4 times bigger battery than normal smartphones and is made for extreme outdoor conditions as it has a thick chassis for its huge battery.

Features of WP19

The WP19 smartphone has a display of a 6.79-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution at a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the model comes with a fingerprint sensor and an option of customized program settings is also available on the phone. The WP19 phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G95 SoC, having 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1. However, the phone does not have an SD card slot for expansion.

Furthermore, the company has not compromised on the cameras of the new WP19 smartphone. The phone comes with a 64MP Sony IMX582 primary camera sensor along with a 20MP IMX350 Night Vision camera which helps to capture low-light photos. Likewise, a 2MP macro camera is also embedded in the phone that can focus as close as 4cm and can record 4K videos at 30 FPS and 1080p 60 FPS clips.

Additionally, the Oukitel WP19 smartphone is incorporated with an enormous 21,000 mAh battery that can last up to 7 days of use. Similarly, it also has a fast charging capability of 33W which can fill 80% of the battery in 3 hours. The phone is available online in black color for Rs. 62,581.
