It seems Ahsan Iqbal paid good attention during his Psychopharmacology classes, that is if he took any as a student! In a recent tweet, that angered PTI supporters, Iqbal took a subtle dig, of what is perceived as an attack, on Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s chairman Imran Khan.
Ahsan Iqbal on 22nd July tweeted:
“With known medical side effects of cocaine use like feeling of euphoria, Grandiosity, inflated self-esteem, Elevated mood, can a nuclear country’s button be entrusted to someone with the above symptoms?”

While Iqbal kept it vague as to whom he was referring to, his second tweet certainly cleared out the confusion.

Iqbal’s Book Recommendation
After PTI supporters questioned the legitimacy of Iqbal’s claims, of Imran Khan smoking cocaine, he advised Insafians to read Reham Khan’s book. Iqbal has been associated with prestigious educational institutions such as Government College Lahore, University of Engineering and Technology (Lahore), University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University and Harvard University, so one may seriously consider Iqbal’s book recommendations.

Iqbal also agreed to one twitter’s suggestion that all parliamentarians should be subjected to drug tests. In 2016, nearly 20,000 people signed a petition that called for all members of the British Parliament to be tested for mind altering drugs. “Demand for Members of Parliament to be drug tested. Starting with George Osborne.”

Addressed to current Home Secretary Theresa May, its creators stated that the aim is, to “Enforce compulsory drug tests for all Members of parliament, and where necessary prosecute under the misuse of substances act.” Do you think it will be possible to conduct drug tests for electables by the next General Elections?
