The Saudi Red Crescent has successfully tested an emergency air ambulance landing on a newly built helipad at Masjid Al Haram in Makkah.

As part of the grand mosque’s third expansion, the helipad enhances emergency medical response for millions of annual pilgrims. Designed specifically for air ambulance operations, it enables swift patient evacuation and transport to nearby hospitals.
