In a surprising development, a resident of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Rawalakot handed down all his land to PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz via a deed.
According to the details, the AJK resident, named Zahid Hussain, signed an affidavit where he stated that he is gifting his property to Maryam Nawaz without any compulsion or pressure and with his own will.
The affidavit stated that excluding the share of Zahid Hussain’s children and other heirs, Maryam Nawaz will be the owner of 50% of the property and will be the owner of 100% of the property after the death of Mazhar (possibly an heir of Hussain).

Furthermore, Hussain stated that it was Maryam Nawaz’s power now that she builds a hospital on the bequeathed land or uses it in any other welfare work.
“The deed has been written so that there is a proof which can be used when needed,” it concluded with the signatures of the property owner.
Reacting to the gift, Maryam Nawaz said that she was deeply touched by the act. However, she also wondered why would a person do such a thing.
