A heated verbal exchange reportedly took place on Tuesday between Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, and PTI lawyers outside Central Jail Rawalpindi, commonly known as Adiala Jail.

According to sources, the altercation occurred when Aleema Khan was leaving the prison after visiting her incarcerated brother. Upon exiting, she confronted the PTI lawyers present at the entrance and instructed that only those legal representatives assigned by the party leadership should meet the jailed leader. Her remarks seemingly did not sit well with some of the PTI lawyers, leading to an intense argument.

Following the incident, PTI lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha lodged a complaint with Imran Khan regarding Aleema’s behavior. Sources indicate that the PTI founder expressed his displeasure over the confrontation and assured the legal team that he would instruct his sister to avoid any further disputes with party lawyers.
“Khan has taken notice of the incident and has assured the lawyers that he will direct Aleema Khan to refrain from engaging in such arguments,” sources added.
