During a speech in Azad Kashmir, Federal Minister of Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur described PPP’s founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto as a traitor who tried to divide the country for the sake of the seat of power.
He later lashed out at Maryam Nawaz and said that her claims of being a Kashmiri are wrong as she is daughter of Jatts. He added that both political parties have broken every record of corruption there is.
During his campaign, Gandapur promised to give a big development package after receiving votes in the upcoming elections. He further stressed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has improved the global image of Pakistan while others have only further indebted the country and did nothing to improve the living conditions of the masses.

Addressing a public rally in Forward Kahuta, Murad Saeed said that parties that came in power multiple times in the past have failed to help the general population. Criticizing PMLN, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan became a diplomat of Kashmiris and has highlighted this issue across the globe time and again, while the opposition failed to do so.
Meanwhile a shoe was thrown at Ali Amin Gandapur at an election rally in Bagh, Kashmir, however it missed and hit the person standing next to him. The PTI workers caught the individual who did this.
Police arrested the young person involved in the incident but Gandapur defended him saying he was not at fault as he must have been paid for the act. He requested the police to release the show thrower.

In response to Gandapur’s name calling, Parliamentary Leader of the PPP in Senate Sherry Rehman said that PTI’s criticism of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who featured the Kashmir issue before the world, is cheap politics. Those who are pointing fingers on the role of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in Kashmir should look at themselves.
Sherry Rehman said the propaganda to attribute the headline to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Shaheed continues even today after 50 years. “Those who offer bribes of crores of rupees for a single vote have no knowledge of history or morality,” she said.
She said those who were involved in the rigging of elections in Gilgit-Baltistan have come out yet again to steal the Kashmir elections. “The people’s heart could not be won through slander and rudeness,” she said, adding that the PTI’s minister did not have anything to criticise Bilawal Bhutto Zardari up on so he chose to do character assassination.
