Ali Muhammad Khan criticized for viral salon video amid party crisis

Ali Muhammad Khan Faces Backlash Over Viral Salon Visit Amid PTI Turmoil

PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan is receiving flak on social media after his video of visiting a salon went viral.

Social media users are condemning Ali Muhammad Khan for engaging in such activities while party leader and founder Imran Khan is languishing in jail. The post sharing the video did not mention whether the video was recent or old.

The video shows Ali Muhammad Khan sitting on a chair in front of the mirror in a white kameez shalwar. He is visiting a salon where a male hairdresser is standing behind him and treating his hair.

An account sharing the video wrote “These are the Mujahideen men who will be martyrs for Imran Khan in his true freedom. Close this Tehreek-e-Insaf shop, get Khan out of jail, and send him to his real family in London.”

Another user sharing the video slammed him and said, “chaltey hain dabey paun k koi jaag na jaye jaldi baal straight kardo kahin light na chali jaye.” The user referred to a verse Ali Muhammad Khan read during his fiery speech in the national assembly on the day of the vote of no confidence against Imran Khan.

For quite some time, Ali Muhammad Khan has been under intense criticism on social media for not being a part of protests and public rallies. PTI supporters and voters have multiple time questions about him for his absence from the rallies and for not accompanying the senior leadership of the party. Some disgruntled supporters are even demanding the party to expel him from the party following his absence from the recent PTI protest at D-Chowk, Islamabad.

Earlier, Mashal Azam Yousafzai, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), was removed from her position at the request of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. The Chief Minister’s Secretariat issued an official notification regarding her dismissal on Saturday.
