Toyota Corolla Cross is about to hit the roads! Toyota has been opening up new avenues with its shift from Sedans to hatchbacks and SUVs lately. The Japan-based automotive manufacturer has remained popular around the world with its record number of sales of the Toyota Corolla introduced back in 1966 as a Subcompact/ Compact car.
Corolla became the best selling car in 1974, just 8 years after the launch. Toyota has sold over 48 million Corollas since its launch, making it the auto giant’s best-selling model ever. Since its introduction, the Toyota Corolla has seen many changes and upgradations with each passing model.
Toyota, just months after revealing the Yaris Cross is back again with a bang with the recently unveiled all-new Toyota Corolla Cross.
Who would’ve thought that Corolla will ever meet SUV? However, this was expected given that the Yaris Cross was recently launched. Toyota premiered its new Corolla Cross Thursday in Thailand, and says that the vehicle “enables customers to select the model that better suits their diverse lifestyles and life stages.” In this new lineup, Toyota has mixed together a Corolla and a crossover.

For fans of economy drive, Toyota has some good news. Toyota Corolla Cross: Exterior
The Toyota Corolla Cross 2021 is shaped pretty similar to the RAV4 with an upright appearance. If we look at the front end we’ll find seemingly angry headlights and a large, black-framed grille. At the rear, the Corolla Cross has thin taillights and a bumper covered in black cladding and a faux skid plate.
Corolla is carrying on its legacy of raised ground clearance that made for an unstable drive in the past, but this time Toyota boasts that it has a smooth ride and good ingress and egress.
The only drawback here is that Toyota isn’t offering an all-wheel-drive (AWD) with this SUV styled lineup of Corolla – front-wheel-drive is the only option here.
