GAC Honda has publicized the first official images of the new Honda ZR-V crossover for the Chinese market. The new model is based on the 11th generation Civic and is positioned in the C-segment SUV category. Moreover, the new ZR-V is also expected to be launched in European.
Furthermore, the new Honda ZR-V features a larger octagonal-shaped grid, fringed by slim LED headlamps with L-shaped DRLs. Similarly, the lower bumper incorporates a C-shaped fog lamp housing. Additionally, the new model has some identical features to US-spec HR-V as the rear design is quite similar to that of the HR-V. However, the ZR-V has a unique silver lower trim and a pair of large split tailpipes as compared to the US version of the HR-V.
The interior design of the model is yet to be revealed but it’s likely to have a similar cabin design to the HR-V model. The new model Honda ZR-V is to be powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder petrol VTEC turbo engine, creating an efficient and professional driving experience.

Likewise, the vehicle has the potential to produce 180hp of power and 240Nm of torque as it is paired with a CVT gearbox. Similarly, the new model incorporates a “240 Turbo” symbol on its tailgate, specifying the torque numbers.

The new model Honda ZR-V having a unique exterior with distinguishing features is going to create a good market economy. This model would definitely attract the customers as it would create competition amongst other crossover models such as HR-V and BR-V etc.
Additionally, the model would also enhance its popularity in the Chinese market due to its engine efficacy and powerful torque range. Though the interior of the model is yet to be revealed, the exterior of the model is also quite promising and the model ZR-V is all set to become one of the hot sellers in the automobile market.
