American radio presenter thanks PM Imran Khan for help

It was PM Imran Khan who had swiftly responded to the calls of help. He added that Pakistan has helped people irrespective of religious and political differences purely on a humanitarian basis.

American radio presenter Glenn Beck, has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan for the safe evacuation from Afghanistan. He penned down a note on how Pakistan’s civil and military leadership immediately responded to their call for evacuation. Beck shared the appreciation letter on his Twitter account.

The journalist said that they had reached out to several world leaders for evacuation and help but did not get an encouraging response. It was PM Imran Khan who had swiftly responded to the calls of help. He added that Pakistan has helped people irrespective of religious and political differences purely on a humanitarian basis.

“He took the lead to save innocent lives irrespective of politics, race, religion, or culture. No other global leader that we have seen, took such an initiative to leverage his/her position to save the innocent putting humanity before politics and showing how much the great faiths have in common on the bridge of compassion.

“He has been gracious with his time and never once questioned our motives. We have spoken about our different faiths and how when truly executed in their highest form, innocent life must be protected and saved.

“PM Khan quickly asked his people to intervene on our behalf and was able to make the difference between life and death for those on board the first three aircraft to leave Mazar e Sharif in Afghanistan with nearly a thousand civilians on board. MANY of them are Americans,” he said.

He demanded the US government to acknowledge the role of Pakistan in the safe evacuation of Americans from Mazar-e-Sharif and other locations in Afghanistan since the beginning of the evacuation process following the takeover of the Afghan Taliban.

According to the reports shared by journalist Anas Mallick, two out of three flights stuck at Mazar-e-Sharif airport had finally taken off following the intervention of PM Imran Khan and Pakistan’s military leadership. Americans, athletes, and their families are on these flights.
