To this, the Raazi actor stated that “I would like to react to her (Kangana) personally if she has any complaints. I don’t want to talk about it in the media. As I have said before, I really admire her as an actor and the choices that she makes. She’s a very outspoken person and I admire her for that as well. If I have upset her unintentionally, then I don’t know. Basically, it wasn’t my intention. I didn’t do anything to get a reaction like this.”
Kangana while criticizing Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt said, “When Aamir called me for Dangal, Secret Superstar, I went all the way to Ambani’s house. Dangal, for me, was a film about women empowerment. But they don’t have time for any of my trails.”
She added, “Alia (Bhatt) sent me the trailer of Raazi and said, ‘please watch it’. For me, it was not a Karan Johar film or an Alia film, for me, it was a film on Sehmat Khan, the girl who has given her everything to the country. How do these people become so petty? This is a very strange sort of a racket. I don’t know what they are threatened by.”

Alia further responded to these statements saying that she will personally apologize to her. “I hope she doesn’t dislike me and I don’t think she dislikes me. I don’t think I have done anything intentionally to upset her. If I have, I will apologize to her on a personal level.” Extremely irked Kangana continued to fume over Alia not showing up at Manikarnika launch.
Following Alia’s statement, Kangana stated, “I suggested that she grows some spine and supports an important film about women empowerment and nationalism… if she doesn’t have a voice of her own and her existence is all about being KJo’s (Karan Johar) puppet then I don’t consider her successful… I told her if she is only focusing on earning bucks and not raise a voice, then her success has no value.”

“Hope she understands the true meaning of success and her responsibilities. Nepotism gang life is simply restricted to give and take favors. Hope she rises above that,” said Kangana.
