Another PIA crew member mysteriously goes missing in Canada while on duty. The crew member went missing after landing in Canada.
The missing cabin crew has been identified as Mohsin Raza. The cabin crew member is based in Islamabad. The incident happened during a layover in Toronto. The incident has raised concerns among the management.
Mohsin Raza was scheduled to board a PIA flight PK784 from Toronto to Karachi on October 13, 2024. However, he did not turn up to report to the flight. When checked, he was found missing from his hotel room.
A PIA spokesman said that the management has initiated the investigation as Raza was scheduled to return to Pakistan.
He added that strict action will be taken against the crew member according to the airline rules if the crew member is found guilty. The PIA management is in contact with the Canadian authorities to find the missing crew member. The dilemma of crew members mysteriously disappearing in Canada continues to create problems for the national airline despite several measures taken to tackle the issue.
Besides the financial impediments, the administrative and managerial issues continue to haunt PIA.

Earlier this year, Custom Officials at Toronto’s Pearson International Airports, Canada detained a PIA air hostess named Hina Sani.
She was charged with the alleged violation of discipline after being found in possession of several passports during a Customs interrogation. Passports of several unrelated people were found in her possession during the checking at the airport. Carrying the passports of unrelated people is a crime as per international laws.
Hina Sani was onboard PIA flight PK-789 from Lahore to Toronto. Customs authorities detained Hina Sani at the Canadian airport.
As per reports, passports belonging to individuals not related to her were found in her possession which raised concerns about her conduct.
