Famous American business magnate Bill Gates has talked to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the phone call today (Wednesday) and appreciated the efforts of PM Khan in eradicating polio from the country.
Both spoke for over 30 minutes and discussed the country’s desire to eliminate polio and Bill Gates assured the PM Khan of his assistance in strengthening the technological sector in Pakistan.
Gates also promised to visit Pakistan soon, claimed the sources. PM Khan thanked Gates for the support he has extended in the social sector.
The Microsoft founder congratulated the premier for assuming the office. Gates promised that his organization, Bill Gates Foundation would keep working on the issue of polio.

Bill gates earlier in June 2013, had reached out to PM Khan to seek the latter’s cooperation in an anti-polio campaign.

Gates had sent a personal letter through his emissary to chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan asking for his party’s cooperation in furthering the anti-polio vaccination programme in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
