The public feud between Punjabi music stars AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh has taken a new twist, with both artists exchanging public statements over claims of social media blocking and unblocking. The conflict began when AP Dhillon, during one of his concerts, accused Diljit of blocking him on Instagram. Diljit denied the accusation, stating that he never blocked Dhillon in the first place.
In response, Dhillon quickly posted a video seemingly showing that Diljit had blocked him, only to unblock him after the accusation surfaced. Speaking to his audience in Punjabi, Dhillon said, “First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me. I’ve been working for three years without getting involved in any controversies.” He also suggested the situation was a matter of marketing tactics, emphasizing his desire to stay focused on his music.

Amid the growing tension, rapper and singer Badshah shared a cryptic message on social media, calling for unity in the Punjabi music industry. Though he didn’t mention either artist by name, his post read, “Please don’t make the mistakes we made. The world is ours for the taking. Like they say, ‘If you wanna go fast, go alone, but if you wanna go far, go together.’ United we stand.”
Both artists have been touring recently, wrapping up major tours in India. Diljit’s Dil-Luminati India Tour, which kicked off in New Delhi on October 26, will conclude on December 29 in Guwahati, with a notable performance in Mumbai on December 19. Meanwhile, AP Dhillon finished his The Brownprint Tour, which included stops in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh, marking his second tour in India.
