Aqsa Kausar, a competent graduate from NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science has become the first female Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning from Pakistan. She is currently working as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) developer with a software organization, named ‘Red Buffer’.
‘Machine Learning’ is the scientific study of algorithms and statistical models that computer systems use to perform a specific task without using explicit instructions, relying on patterns and inference instead. Machine Learning is a subset of Artificial Intelligence.

Aqsa has done her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NUST. She obtained a CGPA of 3.79 in her bachelor’s.
To her credit lies plenty of accolades including arranging various workshops and events like Google DevFest 2018 and Google Cloud Next Extended 2019, which held in Islamabad. She also participated in Google’s Machine Learning Train-the-Trainer session in Singapore.

In her interview with a local media outlet, Aqsa Kausar immensely praised the CEO of the company where she works, who helped her immensely.
“Our CEO Tayyab Tariq has always been highly supportive and encouraging in my GDE journey. He often says: it’s not about you, it’s about how you use what you have to help others”
According to Aqsa Kausar, there lies extreme potential in the field, she urged the youth, particularly women, to explore ample opportunities for growth in the industry.

Google Developer Expert is a global program that recognizes knowledgeable and bright minds across the world. An individual with significant knowledge in more than one Google Technologies, the chance of becoming a Google Developer Expert is brightened.
