Amir Mateen, a prominent Pakistani journalist, argued in a TV show that Nawaz Sharif, former Prime Minister who was disqualified for not being honest and truthful, is deliberately targeting the armed forces of Pakistan. “Nawaz and Maryam have crossed all the limits and leaving no stone unturned in defaming and targeting the country’s armed forces,” he opined.
Mateen also maintained that Ayaz Sadiq’s statement was not a matter of slip of the tounge. “Nawaz appreciates those who target armed forces and defame the army leadership,” he said. Notably, PML-N’s Ayaz Sadi had said that “I remember Shah Mahmood Qureshi was in the meeting in which Imran Khan had refused to attend and Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa came into the room, his legs were shaking and he was. Foreign Minister said for God’s sake let Abhinandan go, India’s about to attack Pakistan at 9 pm”. Not only the foreign minister but also DG ISPR rubbished the statement.
The statement was not only criticized for deliberately targeting Pakistan’s national security narrative but also strongly rejected by the DG ISPR and foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Lowest point in a decent & sober man like Ayyaz Sadiq's political life came when he had to be defended by someone like Maulana Fazal ur Rehman; this is how Nawaz the convicted criminal & absconder, sitting in London through a fraudulent deal, is humiliating his party members!

Amir Mateen is of the view that “Nawaz and his daughter are playing a dangerous game and there may be a point of no return”.

It is important to mention here that Nawaz Sharif named the Army Chief and DG ISI for political engineering in the country. “General Bajwa is responsible for installing incompetent Imran Khan,” he said while addressing PDM rally from London. “Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, you packed up our government, which was working well, and put the nation and the country at the alter of your wishes,” Sharif told the gathering Gujranwala.
PML-N’s lawmakers part ways with the leadership
The News reported on Sunday that Abdul Qadir Baloch, PML-N’s President from Balochistan, has confessed to have quitted the party because of the senior leadership’s narrative. “I am a product of the Army and cannot stand by the narrative of disobedience since it would be extremely injurious to the country. I have taken the decision of parting ways with heavy heart,” said the retired General who commanded North Command as Corps Commander in Quetta and had also been governor of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, two PML-N MPAs Nishat Daha and Younas Ansari have said that their heads hang in shame because of MNA Ayaz Sadiq’s controversial statement.
Speaking at a press conference in Multan, PML-N MPA Nishat Daha said, “I am deeply saddened by the statement made by Ayaz Sadiq, my head hangs in shame on the statement of the former speaker.”
He said that if the leadership wants to please India, it should move there. He further said that today, as a PML-N member, he is ashamed. “The entire nation was hurt by the statements of Nawaz Sharif and Ayaz Sadiq, what they are doing is not good for the country,” he added.
