Areesh Fatima becomes the youngest Microsoft Professional from Pakistan

A proud moment for Pakistan as Areesh Fatima becomes the youngest Microsoft Professional from the country. The 4-year-old took the Microsoft Certified Professional Exam and scored 831 points.

Areesh Fatima, the four-year-old girl from Karachi has become the youngest Microsoft professional from Pakistan.

Areesh is the daughter of the IT expert and took the Microsoft Certified Professional Exam and passed it with remarkable results. The minimum score required to pass the examination was 700 while Areesh scored 831 points. The Microsoft Certified Professional Exam is usually undertaken by adults to keep up with the dynamics in the field of technology.

Areesh attempting the examination at such young age speaks of her brilliance and smartness. Her parents believe she is a keen observer and gives exceptional insight into the details that make her stand out from her age group. Areesh also plans to memorize Holy Quran by the age of 6.

Her father played a crucial role in harnessing her IT skills after he saw her having an interest in computers at a young age.

After training from her father, she learned how to create and manage documents in Microsoft Word, format texts and sections, and create tables, and insert the graphic element in the file.

The Microsoft certification that Areesh took allows candidates to be able to demonstrate their skills in different applications of MS Office, including creating and managing large word documents, creating tables, reports and charts, and adding references.

Areesh’s parents are hopeful that she will continue to progress and become a successful professional in her future.

The young prodigy garnered immense praise and appreciation from social media users in Pakistan. The government of Pakistan also congratulated her on her tremendous achievement. “A 4-year-old Pakistani girl from Karachi, Areesh Fatima has created a history as she has become a Microsoft Certified Professional at such a young age,” wrote Government of Pakistan on Twitter.

It also declared her the ‘Pride of Pakistan’ in recognition of her achievements.
