Singer Asim Azhar thanks PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for sharing his song in the video depicting use of brute force on female protestors of PTI.
On Friday night, Imran Khan had shared a video featuring the crackdown and use of brute force by Police on PTI female leaders and protestors. The video featured the OST of ISPR production ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’. In the tweet, Imran Khan appreciated the efforts and courage of PTI leader and women. The video garnered millions of views within an hour of him posting on his Twitter account.
Sharing the video Imran Khan said, “The way Pakistani women stood up for Haqeeqi Azadi, they will be remembered and become part of our democratic history. Also what will never be forgotten is the brutality of our security forces and the shameless way they went out of their way to abuse, hurt and humiliate our women. Hundreds are languishing in jail in terrible conditions. This too won’t be forgotten,” said Imran Khan in his tweet.
Asim Azhar sharing the video said, “What an honour for me to have this song that i wrote & sang with all my heart to be shared by the one & only kaptaan @ImranKhanPTI who dedicates this to all the women who are standing up for Pakistan.”

Asim Azhar had written and sang this song for the drama serial “Sinf-e-Aahan”.
Talking about the song, he said that it took him six months to prepare the song. “Sinf e Aahan was the most challenging song to write in my career & also the longest. It took me 6 months to write the whole song based on the hardship & struggles that women face everywhere. @ImranKhanPTI thanks for using it as a symbol of power for all the women kaptaan,” said the singer in another tweet.
