Recently there were ongoing speculations on social media about Asim Azhar’s engagement with model and fashion blogger, Merub Ali who also happens to be a good singer.
They both share an amazing friendship with each other and have been spotted together quite often. They both were also seen jamming to a song in a video together. It is also worthwhile to mention that Merub was a friend of Hania Amir’s who happens to be Azim Azhars Ex.
Shortly after the rumors were trending on social media there was a photoshopped screenshot of Asim Azhar allegedly addressing a fan in which he denied any such rumors of his engagement stating “I consider her just like my sister and I request you to please remove the posts portraying wrong messages about me and Merub,” in the screenshot.

Also, any announcement regarding my life will be made from me directly to you like always.

The young singer has come forward to set the record straight, taking to his Twitter handle he rubbishes all rumors regarding his engagement. He wrote “Dear fans, The screenshot floating around of my chat with a fan is FAKE. I request all to not spread it any further.”
He further gave a guarantee to his fan following saying “Any announcement regarding my life will be made from me directly to you like always. I love you guys.”

But it seems like the fans seem unhappy with Asim’s statement, demanding that he give a clearer picture about the alleged rumors. A fan wrote, “Han screenshot ke liye tweet kar diya per engagement ka nahi kar rahy sub ko mini heart attacks kiun de rahy hain? (You tweeted about the screenshot but not about the engagement. Why are you giving us min heart attacks?)”

Another fan replied saying “Engagement kaa btaoo naaaa screenshot k bary mein ni janana hameinn…. Kehh doo k yehh jhoot hai (Please tell us about the engagement, we don’t want to know about the screenshot. Please say this is a lie.)”
