Veteran Pakistani actor Asma Abbas has shared advice for married women, urging them to avoid sharing every detail of their marital life with their mothers, as it can disrupt households.
In a video shared on her YouTube channel, the Baby Baji star suggested that newlywed women and their mothers maintain healthy boundaries and refrain from constantly confiding in each other.

“After marriage, women should understand that it’s unnecessary to inform their mothers about every minor detail concerning their in-laws,” she explained. Abbas noted that newlyweds often discuss trivial matters, such as “who said what, who talked about whom, or how frequently the sister-in-law visits,” which she believes can create unnecessary conflicts.
The Fraud actor also urged mothers to avoid interfering in their daughters’ marital lives and relationships with in-laws, as such involvement can strain families. She emphasized that mothers should teach their daughters patience and understanding, as reacting impulsively to conflicts can worsen situations.

Abbas further suggested that newlywed women should limit frequent visits to their parents’ homes after the initial days of marriage. While occasional visits are fine early on, she advised reducing them over time for the sake of building a stable marital relationship.
