According to the latest data released by Spotify, Pakistan’s Atif Aslam has become the most-streamed Pakistani singer internationally.
Spotify, the world’s leading music streaming platform released the list marking a year to its entry in Pakistan. According to Spotify, over 19, 590 songs had been added on the platform from Pakistani creators. Spotify operates in 184 markets with 406 million followers. Pakistani songs are mostly streamed in India, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Atif Aslam is ranked the top most listened to Pakistani singer on Spotify. His songs, Kadi Tey Hans Bol sang with Velo Sound, Jeena Jeena from film Badlapur and Tere Sang Yara are the most listened songs.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan came second in the list of most-streamed Pakistani singers. In the third came, legendary Qawwal and singing maestro, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Momina Mustehsan came in fourth and Bilal Saeed came in the fifth spot.

Pakistani music making it big!
In the list of songs, Baari by Momina Mustehsan and Bilal Saeed has taken the spot of the top-most listened local song. The duo made another appearance on the fourth spot with Uchiyaan Deewaraan in the fourth spot. Pakistani electronic is also gaining momentum locally and internationally.
Atif Aslam has also sung the official anthem of the HBL PSL 7 along with Aima Baig. The singer enjoys huge popularity in Pakistan and worldwide.
Last year, Pakistani stars Sajal Aly and Atif Aslam hypnotized millions of their fans with their music video titled Rafta Rafta.
The backdrop which is against the night sky in Skardu, the poster shows Aslam and Aly sitting close to each other on a camping trip, hinting at a romance between the two.
Sajal and Atif took to their respective Instagram handle to delight fans with the first poster. Unveiling the poster, Atif Aslam wrote in the caption “Experience love like never before!”
