Pakistani singer, Atif Aslam, is set to perform at the World Trade Center in Dubai in January 2021. Aslam will perform in Dubai on January 15th in a live concert as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
The concert will take place at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at DWTC. Organized by Blu Blood, CEO Shaaista Khan Osman confirmed to Gulf News that all the guidelines will be followed in the event.
“…Together with the venue, in line with the local regulations laid out by the Dubai government and on the recommendations of WHO, we will ensure that all health and safety guidelines including sanitizing, temperature checks, and social distancing will be maintained and carefully followed to curb the further spread of COVID-19,” said Khan in the statement.
The capacity of the hall will be reduced to 1400 from 4,400, to maintain social distancing protocols among the crew and members.
Atif Aslam is extremely popular in the Indian and Pakistani communities living in Dubai.
Earlier this year, Aslam was included in the list of World 500 Most Influential Muslims issued by The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan. According to the list, Atif Aslam has the 19th most popular social media presence that is held by a Muslim.

Last year, Aslam was bestowed with Dubai’s Walk of Fame ‘Dubai Star’ for his exceptional work.
The singer attended the opening ceremony of The Dubai Stars which aims to “honor personalities who delivered the exceptional in their respective field of work.”
The platform also acknowledged his glorious career in the music industry in a statement calling him “one of the best singers in Pakistan. The statement further added that he “was honored with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan. Best known for his powerful vocal belting technique.”
Atif Aslam at the press conference for The Dubai Stars shared, “Music has always connected people and my music has always connected… people talk about their breakups, their make-ups or whatever but then again they have been with there me throughout my journey and I’d like to thank all of you for that.”

Atif went on to say, “On this platform I see a lot of collaborations happening here because I was so looking forward to meeting all these celebrities. I want to work in the field of music. I want to collaborate with them to get to know their culture, know about how beautiful they are.”
