India disrespects International law and international norms and becomes a threat to regional peace. According to the UN resolution, Kashmir is a declared disputed territory that is occupied by India by force against the will of the people.

Articles 370 and 35-A, which had given Kashmir its unique status, were repealed by the Indian government in August of this year. As a result, India is attempting to alter the demographics of Kashmir, a move that is illegal under international law.

In the recent political crisis, the joint opposition parties moved the motion of no-confidence against the incumbent Prime Minister; however, the deputy speaker dismissed the no-trust vote and later the ruling party dissolves the assemblies which created a political vacuum.

In a statement, Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, criticized India's revised justification for the missile launch into Pakistani territory and stressed that the situation was much too critical to be treated lightly.

Unfavorable perceptions about Muslims must be countered by the OIC, in particular, in order to unite the Muslim world. After this historic decision, Pakistan's Prime Minister said that the next issue is to ensure that our voice against Islamophobia is heard.
