It seems as if Awn Chaudhry, a key member of the Jahangir Tareen Group, is writing a book on his time spent with PTI. Currently, Awn Chaudhry is serving as the Adviser to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Youth Affairs.
One of Pakistan’s leading journalists Mubasher Lucman told the news on Twitter. He also said that the book will have a huge impact on the PTI supporters.
“I just heard Mr. Aoun Chaudhry is writing a book on his days with PTI. If he writes all what he knows, then that will be earth-shattering for supporters of PTI,” Mubasher Lucman wrote.

Important to note, Awn Chaudhry used to be a close associate of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. However, he threw his weight behind ‘estranged’ PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen after relations between the latter and Imran Khan turned sour.

To clarify, Awn Chaudhry used to serve as Special Coordinator to Chief Minister Punjab on Political Affairs. But he resigned when he was asked to disassociate himself from the Jahangir Tareen group or step down from the post. This was in 2021, and Usman Buzdar was the Chief Minister.
In his resignation letter, Awn Chaudhry expressed anger over the treatment meted out to him by the party whom he said he had served selflessly.
“I served PTI, wholeheartedly, completely ignoring my personal life and family for a cause. Sadly I was ‘rewarded’ by being removed right before the oath-taking ceremony of the Prime Minister which I accepted with grace,” he stated.
Awn Chaudhry writing a book after Reham Khan?
If news of Awn Chaudhry writing a book is indeed true, then it won’t be the first time that someone who used to be close to Imran Khan has made shocking claims about his life and PTI. Imran Khan’s ex-wife and journalist Reham Khan also wrote a very controversial book on the PTI leader.
The book accused many PTI leaders, including Imran Khan, of indecent acts, incompetence, and corruption. Ofcourse, such a salacious book caused quite a storm in Pakistan.
Former Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed even sent a legal notice to Reham Khan on charges of propaganda and slander against him in her book.
