Babar Azam to receive Sitara-e-Imtiaz on 23rd March

Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam is to receive the prestigious civil award Sitara-e-Imtiaz on 23rd March Pakistan Day. Azam will be honored for his services to Pakistan Cricket.

Babar Azam will become the youngest cricketer to receive Sitara-e-Imtiaz. The 28-year-old cricketer has taken Pakistan Cricket to new heights with his exceptional cricketing skills.

Azam has been given a rest from cricket. He will not be leading the Pakistani side in the series against Afghanistan starting from March 24th. He aims to keep his focus on the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup in India scheduled later this year.

Since the beginning of his career, Babar Azam has garnered praise from cricketing legends across the world.

Earlier a video went viral that showed him being taught in the cricket academy. The video of the instructor made rounds on social media. The lecture, titled “Track the ball in the early stages of flight and move to the finishing line”, focused on how Babar Azam tackles pace bowling.
