Bakhtawar Bhutto looked radiantly beautiful at her Nikkah ceremony. She tied the knot with her fiancé, Mahmood Chaudhry, in an intimate ceremony on Friday. The bride was accompanied by brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari – chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party.
Bhutto shared an emotional message on Bakhtawar’s wedding on social media. “Happiest moment in many years to see my sister Bakhtawar getting married.”
“Felt like our mother was watching over us in this moment of joy. Wishing them both all the best for their new life together,” wrote Bhutto in his message. He also shares a few pictures from the ceremony on his social media. Whereas the youngest sibling, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, also expressed best wishes to the couple. Aseefa wished the couple, “a lifetime of happiness and joy” on their new journey.

Wedding pictures released on social media showed the groom wearing a cream-colored sherwani. Bilawal Bhutto, on the other hand, matched his white shalwar kameez with a brown blazer. The pictures showed the father and former president Asif Ali Zardari was also present at the Nikkah ceremony.

Bakhtawar wore a heavily embellished ivory golden dress on her Nikkah ceremony. She wore a dress from a Karachi-based designer.

According to the sources from PPP, the function of Baraat will be held on Saturday, January 30th. Nearly 300 guests would be in attendance, due to the restrictions of coronavirus.

The couple exchanged rings on November 27th. Bakhtawar took to her Twitter account and shared the images herself, while a few images were released by Pakistan People’s Party media cell on social media. The images gave a brief glimpse of an intimate engagement ceremony. According to reports, only 150 people attended the ceremony.
