Bakhtawar Bhutto, the eldest daughter of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Zardari, names her third son Mir Zulfikar, after her grandfather.
In an Instagram post, Bakhtawar revealed that the name of her third son is Mir Zulfikar Mahmood Chaudhry. By naming her son Zulfikar, she paid tribute to her grandfather.
Congratulations are in order for Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari and the late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, as she recently announced the birth of her third child.
On October 20, Bakhtawar and her husband, Mahmood Choudhry, welcomed their third son. Both parents shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a picture with a beautiful green floral background and the caption, “We are happy to announce the birth of our third baby boy.” The announcement, which included the baby’s birth date, was accompanied by green and white heart emojis. However, the couple has not yet disclosed their newborn son’s name.

Bakhtawar and Mahmood, who were married on January 29, 2021, celebrated the birth of their first son, Mir Hakim, on October 10 of that same year. They welcomed their second son, Mir Sijawal, on October 5, 2022. Bakhtawar Bhutto, the second child of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari tied the knot with Mahmood Chaudhry in 2021.
Mahmood Chaudhry is the son of Muhammad Younas and Begum Suraiya Chaudhry. Muhammad Younas’s family roots are traced back to Lahore from when he migrated to UAE in 1973. He is a successful businessman with a diversified portfolio including investments in finance, tech, and construction. As Bakhtawar gave birth to her third son, social media is filled with mixed reactions.
At 34, Bakhtawar frequently shares updates on social media, often featuring her sons spending time with their grandfather, uncle Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, and aunt Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari.
