Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari has reacted to the recent tweet Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan; he admonished the influential business tycoons and senior politicians for acting rashly when under the plundering and money laundering investigations. PM Khan shared in his Twitter post, the quote of French economist Frederic Bastiat on money launderers and plunderers.

PM Khan’s tweet read,” The truth of this saying is reflected clearly in the way money launderers are treated and the way they behave with indignation when questioned”.

Whereas, the shared quote read, “When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and moral code that glorifies it.”

PM Khan shared in his Twitter post, the quote of French economist Frederic Bastiat on money launderers and plunderers.

Bakhtawar Bhutto, the daughter of former President Asif Ali Zardari and sister of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, retorted by attacking PM Khan’s sister and said, “It’s not nice to speak about your sisters like this.”

She was referring to Aleema Khan, sister of the premier who underwent an investigation for undeclared assets and holding offshore companies.

Whereas, Asif Ali Zardari and Bakhtawar’s aunt Faryal Talpur are under heavy investigations of NAB for charges of money laundering through fake bank accounts.
