“Players of Pakistan cricket team practice by hanging flags at Mirpur Stadium. Hanging flags is not an expression of heroism. If there is, there is nothing to say. Let immediate action be taken. I strongly protest,” said a Twitter user.
This is not the first sight of Pakistani players setting up a flag in the ground during the practice session. Players were seen taking the Pakistani flag during the practice session in UAE as well. When asked it was revealed that coach Saqlain Mushtaq started the practice to motivate the players and remind them that they are playing for the pride and honor of the country.
