Barrister Gohar meets Imran Khan at Adiala Jail

Barrister Gohar expressed the importance of keeping Imran Khan informed on party strategy while in jail.

Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Barrister Saif, and party leader Ali Muhammad Khan met PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail on Monday. The meeting comes in the context of PTI’s planned protest in Islamabad.

Sources report the meeting was held to take further guidance from Imran Khan regarding protests and future action plans. Barrister Gohar expressed the importance of keeping Imran Khan informed on party strategy while in jail.

Party leaders believe keeping Imran Khan updated regarding the protest is crucial. The purpose is to keep him engaged.

The convoy of Ali Amin Gandapur inches closer to Islamabad. The convoy left Khyer Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, November 24, 2024. After crossing several hurdles including barricades, shipment containers, and police force, protestors are finally reaching closer to Islamabad.

Through to Islamabad, police clashed with protestors and marchers. PTI workers and supporters removed the barricades after serious clashes with Police at different points, especially near Attock. Videos and images of protestors clashing with Police are circulating on social media.

The former first lady Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, encouraged PTI protestors from the container heading towards Islamabad from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She has joined the CM KPK Ali Amin Gandapur on the way to Islamabad.

Media sources predict a large number of people are accompanying the convoy of Ali Amin Gandapur. In a brief address to the crowd, the Chief Minister urged party members to move forward, declaring, “We must advance and not turn back until Imran Khan is released.”

Meanwhile, the federal government has sealed the entry points of Islamabad. PTI plans to stage a sit-in protest at D-Chowk in the federal capital. Later, upon reaching a rest house near the Hazara Interchange, Bushra Bibi stepped out of her vehicle and responded to the workers’ chants by waving at them.
