The Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT) has inaugurated a regional office in Karachi to broaden and enhance their network. This remarkable breakthrough was achieved under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Jam Jamal Khan.
CEO Farman Zarkoon of Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade said that Karachi was the business hub and financial capital of Pakistan, it also hosts the largest number of head offices of companies and financial institutions of the country. He further stated that opening a regional office in Karachi would ensure facilitation to investors and the business community at their doorstep.

He further added that it was because of the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Jam Jamal Khan, that due to his proactive approach BBoIT was able to reach this milestone. Being the first Provincial board of Investment to assemble a regional office which provides a One window facilitation for investors. One-window facilitation centers are also being set up in Karachi, Quetta, and Gawadar.
He went on to emphasize the importance of opening a facilitation center in Gawadar, the gateway to the Pak-China Corridor and a potential economic hub of Pakistan. He said that they would welcome business and they can be approached for any kind of facilitation.

This news comes just a week after, Farman Zarkoon said that many foreign and local investors had approached BBoIT and shown keen interest in investing in Balochistan. He said that this had restored investor confidence in Balochistan. He was very optimistic about investment in Balochistan, which will not only bring in foreign investors but will bring in a pool of employment opportunities.
