In an answer to one question, Meera said that “I never said I was leaving the film industry. I was doing other projects and also worked in Bollywood films as the industry here was in crisis at that time. I always give priority to quality work and I’ve been lucky with what I’ve done so far. I am now very excited to begin shooting for my next film in Karachi.

When questioned about her favorite director in the industry. “There are many talented people in the film business and I really admire Ho Mann Jahaan’s director Asim Raza. His work has been very impressive and I feel that he is amongst the best directors in Lollywood right now. It will be an honor for me to work with him.

She further added, “I am hopeful that with new people entering Pakistani cinema, the industry will flourish and be known to the rest of the world.”

She has advised all other actors to purely rely on hard work and effort since she believes that by merely working in a few films nobody can become ‘Meera’. According to the former queen of Lollywood, who is hoping to reconquer the industry she once ruled, it takes years of struggle to make a name in the industry and then staying relevant after making it is even harder.
