In news from India, the country’s ruling political party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in an uproar over Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto’s remarks against Indian Prime Minister and BJP leader Narendra Modi.
The BJP has condemned as “highly shameful and derogatory” remarks of FM Bilawal against their PM Modi and has decided to hold nationwide protests on Saturday. BJP will hold protests in all the state capitals across India.
“BJP karyakartas will burn the effigy of Pakistan and Pakistani Foreign Minister and will strongly condemn the shameful statement of the Pakistani Foreign Minister,” BJP said in a statement.

While terming the remarks “derogatory and full of cowardice”, BJP said the remarks are also aimed at “misleading the world and divert global attention from Pakistan’s collapsing economy, lawlessness and anarchy in Pakistan, simmering differences in the Pakistani army, its deteriorating global relations and the fact that Pakistan has become the major sanctuary for terrorists.

“What more can be expected from Pakistan’s foreign minister which reflects his government’s desperation and mental bankruptcy,” the BJP further added.
BJP workers also staged a protest on Friday against Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto over his statement against Modi outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.

Bilawal Bhutto’s remarks against Modi
India’s Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar accused Pakistan of perpetuating terrorism and sheltering Osama bin Laden at the UN Security Council and repeated the allegations while addressing the media at a UN stakeout site.
Responding to the allegations, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari told India that Osama Bin Laden has died but the butcher of Gujarat — Narendra Modi — is still alive and has become the prime minister of India.
“I would like to remind Mr. Jaishankar that Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives, and he is the prime minister (of India),” said Bilawal Bhutto.

“He (Narendra Modi) was banned from entering this country (the United States). These are the prime minister and foreign minister of RSS, which draws inspiration from Hitler’s SS,” he added.
