Blessed journey: Humayun Saeed shares pictures from Umrah

Saeed recently attended the Filmfare Middle East Awards in Dubai. He won the award for 'Trendsetter of Pakistani Cinema’.

Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed performs Umrah in Saudi Arabia. The actor shared the pictures of his Umrah on his Instagram account.

Saeed performed the picture of traveling in the fast-track train between Makkah and Madinah. He also shared pictures of Masjid-e-Nabwi (Holy Prophet’s Mosque) and the Grand Mosque of Makkah. Sharing the pictures, Saeed said: “Alhamdulillah… Blessed Allah called me to His house again and I was able to perform Umrah. Prayed for all my friends, family, and all of you, my extended family. May Allah bestow His mercy upon us all, may He shower His love upon us all, may He protect us and our Pakistan from all evil.”

Saeed recently attended the Filmfare Middle East Awards in Dubai. He won the award for ‘Trendsetter of Pakistani Cinema’. At the award ceremony, Humayun Saeed was praised for his positive contributions to the Pakistani entertainment industry over more than 20 years.

The actor had earlier come under fire for intimate scenes in the Netflix series ‘The Crown. The Crown stars Pakistan’s top actor Humayun Saeed as the Late Lady Diana’s love interest.

Saeed played Dr. Hasnat, the late Princess Diana’s rumored beau, while Elizabeth Debicki essayed the role of Diana in the show.

The London Nai Jaunga actor is being praised for his impeccable acting in The Crown, with some calling his performance “impressive”. However, the 51-year-old came under the spotlight after episode 7 of the season was released in which he was spotted sharing an intimate kissing scene with Debicki.

Saeed has received appreciation as well as flak for his role in The Crown season 5.
