In a tragic turn of events, the Islamabad police discovered the lifeless body of 30-year-old Umar Shaham hanging from a pedestrian bridge near the I-9 sector on the Islamabad Expressway. The shocking incident unfolded on Monday morning when local residents, shrouded in dense fog, stumbled upon the grim scene hours after Shaham’s death.

Promptly alerted, personnel from Aabpara Police Station swiftly responded to the distressing discovery. On-site investigations began as authorities endeavored to understand the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.

As the fog lifted, revealing the haunting sight, the police identified the victim as Umar Shaham, originally from Mardan’s Katlang area but a resident of i9-1 in Islamabad. Initial attempts to contact the family proved unsuccessful. The authorities, following preliminary investigations, leaned toward the possibility of suicide, citing a lack of evident struggle or signs of external force trauma.
