British-Pakistani TikToker, Mahek Bukhari, and mother, have been charged with killing cousins. Three women named Mahek Bukhari, mother Ansreen Bukhari, and Natasha Akhtar have been arrested by UK Police in connection of killing cousins, Saqib Hussain and Hashim Ijazuddin on February 11.

Authorities alleged that the women ran Hussain and Ijazuddin’s car right off the road. Saqib Hussain, 20, and Hashim Ijazuddin 21 were declared dead on the spot. The TikTok influencer and her mother appeared in the court on Monday.

Two other men, Raees Jamal 21, and Rekan Karwan 28 are also charged in a murder case. At the court appearance, Judge Timothy Spencer QS said: “You face the most serious charge known to criminal law … Do you know that?”. The defendants replied “Yes”. They will enter a plea to the charges at the next hearing on March 18.

The case is still being investigated. Detective Chief Inspector Tony Yarwood said: “The investigation is in the very early stages and work is being carried out to ascertain the circumstances of the collision and what happened in the minutes before. Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw three cars traveling in the area of Troon Way or Abbey Lane at around 1:25 a.m., and on the A46 between the Thurmaston Shopping Center and the Hobby Horse Island.”

Love for Hashim

Hashim’s father, Sikandar Hayat said that both the men were cousins. Hashim took Saqib to Leicestershire to see a ‘grieving friend’.

Mr. Hayat said: “Hashim was my favorite son, he was a beautiful soul and I feel blessed by Allah to have had 21 years with him.

“He borrowed the Skoda from his grandfather because his cousin Saqib asked him for a lift to Leicestershire to see a friend. Saqib was very down about things. Hashim loved him a lot and cared for all people in general. He would do anything to help somebody out.

“This is the kind of person he was. He was just doing a good deed because he never wanted to say no to anybody in trouble. Saqib was going through a tough time and asked Hashim to take him to Leicestershire but my son had nothing to do with any of this,” said Sikandar Hayat.

Hashim’s older brother said: “I’m not ashamed to say that I loved him the most because he was just like me, only better looking and a nicer character. Everybody loved Hashim, he was incredibly popular and had friends all over the country.
