Canadian vlogger Rosie Gabrielle marries Pakistani traveller Adeel Amer on Saturday. The images and videos of the couple went viral on social media.
The couple received immense love and appreciation from Pakistani followers. In a long Instagram post, she poured out her love for Pakistan and her husband, Amer.
“Never would I thought that I would come to Pakistan and fall in LOVE. Not only with a country and its people, but one very special individual in particular,” she said in the romantic and emotional post.
‘My whole life I searched for him. My soul mate, my companion, my best friend.”
The Canadian vlogger further said “Before I came to Pakistan, I surrendered my need to find someone. I made a pact with God, that if I had to spend the rest of my life living for only Him, and loving myself, without needing someone to “complete me”, SO BE IT. I finally knew deep down that I’m ENOUGH. And I didn’t need anyone to make me whole.”

“It’s a funny thing surrender; the moment you do, you are gifted 10 times over. Divine says, give up your desire for your needs, for what I have in store for you, is much Greater. And it was true!” said Rosie.

“Not only did I find my soul partner, but I also found my best friend. The one who I will cherish and continue to love more deeply every day. Someone whom I can share every detail of my life with without guilt or judgment, who challenges me, who continuously pushes me to be a better person. The one who loves me unconditionally and has patience and compassionate grace for my journey. The man who lights up my life and inspires me every single day with his love and actions. Someone who compliments me perfectly,” the Canadian vlogger added further.
“Our love was written in the stars. There were a subtle familiarity and connection I had never felt and more, it’s as if we had lived a thousand lifetimes before. In the most unsuspected place I found, a love so rare, so profound. God gifted me you and you to me, to reflect His Divinity.”
“To truly find our life’s sacred calling, our souls emerge hearts exalting My best friend, companion, motivator, inspiration, my heart my soul, my LOVE My husband @adeelamer,” she concluded.
Last year, Gabrielle had embraced Islam following her long stay in Pakistan since 2019. Gabrielle posted her image in a white gown and headscarf with Quran in hand. In the caption of the image, she recounted her journey towards Islam.
She asserted that the love and support received in Pakistan helped her to be free from the long-held pain. She travelled from Balochistan to the Northern areas during her stay.
In her Instagram post, she narrated that she had denounced her religion four years ago since she did not resonate with what she was brought up with. That marked the beginning of her spiritual journey towards the Creator.
Her stay in Pakistan brought her to the conclusion that even her sufferings were a blessing from God to redirect her on the right path.

She began to travel to have peace, forgiveness and absolve herself from the shackles of grief and anguish.
“The universe brought me to Pakistan, not only to challenge myself to let go of the last remaining traces of pain and ego but also to show me the way. Through kindness and humbled grace of the people I met along my pilgrimage, inspired my heart to seek further,” added the biker.
