“This member of the Pakistani government accidentally live-streamed his press briefing with the cat filter on,” he explained adding in an impersonation: “I’m calling for a national ban on dogs!”
He did also say he likes it: “I think a lot more people would watch the Democratic debates if they used a filter or two.”
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government became the subject of mockery by netizens on social media after the cat filter appeared during the live broadcast of the press conference on Facebook called by provincial Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai.

The filter appeared accidentally but the netizens could not resist themselves from mocking the minister and his team members. Throughout the press conference, the cat’s ears and whiskers appeared on the face of Yousafzai and other ministers. It was a glitch on behalf of the person running the live stream press conference. It, however, seems to be an attempt by the ministry to innovate the style of addressing the journalists.
