Israeli troops on Thursday killed three Palestinians during a firefight in a West Bank city, and another in a separate incident, Palestinian officials said.

In order to mimic attacks on Iran's nuclear programme, the Israeli Air Force conducted extensive joint drills with the United States.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said the return of ambassadors was "important to improve bilateral ties", while vowing to "defend" Palestinian rights.

The conflict in Syria started with the brutal repression of peaceful protests and escalated to pull in foreign powers and global jihadists.
