Pakistan’s leading celebrities including Humayun Saeed and Ali Zafar have thanked Rtd Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, the Chairman of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Special Assistant to PM on Communication and Broadcast, for his efforts for the revival of Pakistan’s film industry, today.
On Sept 18, Bajwa in his tweet informed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved of key initiatives planned for the growth and revival of the entertainment sector in Pakistan in a meeting held earlier this week. He exhorted the significance of a developed entertainment sector for Pakistan. PM Khan has directed the concerned authorities to take swift steps to support the entertainment that is still in its budding phase, informed Bajwa.

Later in the day, the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor, Humayun Saeed took to Twitter and expressed gratitude to Bajwa and PM Khan for lending their crucial support in promoting the entertainment and cultural industry.

“Great news. Thank you PM & team. Hoping & expecting the measures to be implemented soon!” wrote Saeed.
He also addressed special assistant Bajwa as well in his tweet. He wrote: “Thank you @AsimSBajwa for your continued support as well for this cause. The Pakistan film industry has waited a long time for this moment. Thrilled, excited, and absolutely ready to contribute to the industry’s progress.”
